present online and have it delivered to your car before anyone ever notices.
Amazon Key In-car Delivery couldn’t be more convenient for
Amazon Prime Members. Amazon’s in-car delivery service is a step into the
future and allows a new partnership between the automotive industry and Amazon.
Buick and GMC are on board and have already partnered with Amazon to help
customers achieve the best experience. Buick and GMC vehicles that are a 2015
model or newer and have the OnStar system are eligible to participate in the
Amazon in-car delivery option.
How It
Works:
1.
Check Your
Eligibility – Amazon Key In-Car Delivery is compatible with Buick, GMC,
Chevrolet, Cadillac, and Volvo vehicles that are a 2015 or newer model that
have a cloud-connected system such as OnStar. You will also need to check if
the area you in which you are located offers the service.
2.
Download
The Amazon Key App – The Amazon Key App will allow the person delivering
your package to access your vehicle.
3.
Shop On
Amazon – Pick out the items you would like to purchase. You can shop
online at Amazon.com or you can use the mobile shopping app.
4.
Select The
Appropriate Delivery Option – You will want to select In-Car Delivery
and you will need to select an eligible address. Amazon will tell you when your
package will be delivered and will give you a time window for when to expect it.
5.
Receive
Your Package And Enjoy – When delivery day has arrived, Amazon will notify you
when your package will arrive. You will need to park within two blocks of your
delivery address. Amazon will let you know when the package has been delivered
and assure you that your vehicle has been relocked.
